How to Build, Engage, and Convert Using AI + Automation

Let’s be honest: most people think of automation as something that saves time or adds a bit of convenience. But in reality, it's a profit driver. I’m not just talking about revenue here, I mean actual profit. Because automation can increase your sales with minimal cost. And in today’s hyper-competitive, attention-driven economy, automation isn’t optional. It’s essential.

People are bombarded by marketing messages everywhere they look. Ads are expensive. Competition is fierce. But automation can give you the edge, helping you capture more leads, turn them into paying customers, and bring them back again.

The best part? So few small businesses are using it properly. And that’s where your opportunity is.

3 Ways to Use AI and Automation to Grow Your Business

In this training, I’m going to walk you through three specific ways you can use AI and automation:

1. Build – Putting the right pieces in place so your business can scale.
2. Engage – Starting conversations with leads and customers automatically.
3. Convert – Following up to turn interest into action and sales.

I’ll also share a few real-world examples, and we’ll do a live demo inside our platform, Automator AI, so you can see this all in action.

And yes, I’ve had some failures along the way. Shoutout to boardgames.com, which was a painful lesson, but the businesses that have succeeded (and there are several 8-figure ones) all had one thing in common: smart systems and smart automation.

The Tools You’ll Need

Before we jump into strategies, let’s talk tools. You’ll need more than just a chatbot to run a business. You need a CRM, or an all-in-one sales and marketing system.

• Capture leads
• Follow up automatically
• Convert into sales

Start simple:

• One traffic source
• One lead funnel
• One automated workflow
• One sales channel

Example: Selling a $5 Widget

• Traffic: Google Ads
• Funnel: Lead magnet (ebook, freebie, etc.)
• Follow-Up: Autoresponder (email + text)
• Sales: Simple product page

You don’t need a sales rep to sell a $5 product. Just a clean funnel and automation.

Example 2: High-Ticket Coaching

• Traffic: Facebook/Instagram Ads
• Funnel: Appointment booking
• Follow-Up: Email and text nurture
• Sales: Zoom calls
